Continue readingWow, I had no clue there was an actual Indie Author Day until a few days ago. But I will take any chance I get to talk about some of my favorite authors and books! The vast majority of indie books I’ve read are extremely well-done and deserve just as much publicity as any traditionally published books. In fact, since indie publishing gives authors much more freedom than traditional, indie books are usually more creative and hard-hitting. So if you’re new to indie authors, give them a try! The sheer variety of indie books is epic – as you will see in just a second.

When I first heard about this prequel to Preacher on the Run, I was so excited. Robert and Magdalen deserve all of the stories, in my opinion. But when I started reading, I got an extra treat since Mitchell was also a main component of the story!
A few months ago, I was given the opportunity to read and review Preacher on the Run by Jayna Baas (check out my review here!) The premise of the book was quite intriguing to me, and once I started reading it, I knew this was one good book and one great author! The situations presented in the book really made me think, especially in our current state of affairs in our country, and the relationships between all of the characters are so Christian and refreshing. Not to mention there’s a lot of action and great characters.

I loved this book! I don’t usually think about books except when I’m reading them – unless they’re really good – and I kept thinking about this story throughout the day! (Always a good sign.)
