Well, this story begins very long along, in a distant land … just kidding. It does seem like a very long time ago when I first started writing Unknown back in late 2018. I’d just come off of writing a trilogy of Civil War books (what I consider my first “real” and finished books.) For some reason, I decided I wanted a change of pace and chose to write something in a modern setting.
And then somehow, I decided to set it in Russia. And why’s that?

Welcome to the launch week for Unknown! I am so excited to share this story with all of you guys. At the present moment, Unknown is going through the final stages of editing. My wonderful editor/sister/amazing author finished it a few days ago (thank you a million times) and right now, my mom (known in some circles as the “Typo Queen”) is reading through it and combing for the many typos I so often include. (Thank you a million times, too!) So after the Typo Queen is done with her editing, I have one more time through the book, and then it’s off to the races.
