Indie Author Day + Some Amazing Indie Authors!

Wow, I had no clue there was an actual Indie Author Day until a few days ago. But I will take any chance I get to talk about some of my favorite authors and books! The vast majority of indie books I’ve read are extremely well-done and deserve just as much publicity as any traditionally published books. In fact, since indie publishing gives authors much more freedom than traditional, indie books are usually more creative and hard-hitting. So if you’re new to indie authors, give them a try! The sheer variety of indie books is epic – as you will see in just a second.

This was such a sweet, relaxing book. Don’t get me wrong – I love high-stakes drama and intrigue and intensity, but sometimes it’s nice just to read something that’s more everyday life. Even though there wasn’t much action, the character development and interactions kept me turning the pages.

Wow, this was so cool! I didn’t really know what to expect when I first started reading this book, but I was pleasantly surprised! For some reason, I felt like I was reading a book version of the game Clue. Don’t ask me why … I think it was because there were several characters, and I felt like I was meeting all of them and feeling suspicious or something. I don’t know.
